Question Oil pan clips…

I need to know where these oil pan clips go. I think they all are from the passenger side to hold trans lines and starter wires. But now I’m thinking the smaller clips are for the spark plug wires (one on each side).
If anyone has a clue please help.

Re: Oil pan clips…

I don't see your picture of the clips you are referencing, but you should have 1 clip on each side of the oil pan that is held on by an oil pan bolt. They are for holding the two forward most spark plug wires on each side when they are routing underneath as from the factory. I prefer this way, because if you route them as they were routed stock, the look is cleaner and you don't risk them catching on anything or the insulation melting on an exhaust manifold.

You also shoud have a 2 wire holder underneath each pair of plugs, 1 mounted on the rear on both sides on the engine for the 4 wires per side, and 1 on each side by the distributor that holds the 4 wires that should be a plastic clip that fits onto a metal bracket.

Re: Oil pan clips…

Here’s where I think they should go. Does this look correct?
I have all the brackets. There are ones that bolt one the back of the block and hold 4 plug wires, and the two smaller clips for each side of the block (see pic.). the larger hanger I believe is for the trans lines.
Thanks,
s/t
