god. how many engines did gm put the high torque sticker on? there on every one of them.

I have a good question. How do we tell what colors the engine blocks were painted for year/model designation? I really like that blue, but the worn out paint on my 292 says it used to be reddish-orange, like competition orange. There is a color number on my VIN plate that has the color code of the body, but nothing so far on the engines. Can anyone help?
