10" Lift

Is there a company that sells a 10" suspension lift kit for a 72 Chevy? or even better any kind of lift kit thats bigger than 4". I'm wanting to put 38's on my truck and can find tires galore but can't find a dang lift kit for nothing. I am having no luck and getting frustrated as heck...

Adding a 10" lift is not going to be functional at all 'EXCEPT' for mudding.

Re: 10" Lift

6" inch spring kit form Superlift, Skyjacker, Tuff Country with a shackle flip in back should get you to ten in back pretty easy. For the front you should check the mentioned above suppliers. You may or may not find one available. If not you are going custom and will need to put back springs in front or something. Since the stock front springs are flat if you put some stock rear ones in you will probly get 4-6" right there. Put 6" overs and you will be in the 8-10" range. You will definetly be gettin some new drivlines. You might also want to invest in 1 ton axles before you put it on. Cuz with the tires most people would run at that height you will be breaking little stuff like dana 44's.

Re: 10" Lift

With that amount of lift you are going to want to look into crossover steering or hydraulic steering.

Re: 10" Lift

Superlift makes them, too. Most magazine adds don`t bother listing older applications to save space for late-model junk.Since such a lift is opening a healthy can`o`worms to do it right,I`d get`73-up springs and move the perches. When mounting perches you could use custom fabbed ones that would create lift so it isn`t all in the spring.
