Its time to search for a new truck lol. Any places where to look for all you canadians more specificly western Canadians?

My truck went down in flames on Canada Day of all days, fire started near the carb we think and the rest is history, it was tough as i am only 16 and spent every penny i earned on that baby, o well haha just gotta wait for insurance and either start a new truck, or salvage what i can from old purple.

So anybody have any suggestions on places to look?? I have searched the auto trader but anything else??

not to rub salt in the wounds but just wondering if you had a length of rubber hose for a gas line?? alot of guys think they're just swell me i claim they're great ways to burn up trucks

Look in local papers and back alleys, and ask everyone you know. It would help if you posted where you live, in case members in the area can help out.

where do you live man. Im from edmonton and i found my truck in the bargain finder or the buysell if your in bc. I paid $1000 for it. Wasn't in the greatest shape, actually it was pretty much a peace of crap but i got it home and started workin on her. This was two and a half years ago when i was fifthteen and now im coming to the end of my resto. It all depends on want you want to do. If you are looking for a driver, try finding one thats in relatively good shape for a truck from up here for a few grand and keep your current truck for parts or restore it and then you'll have two trucks, one a driver and one a nice clean restored one. Thats what i would do. Since your most likely still in high school just buy a truck for a driver so you can still get around though.

local news papers are great and friends (word of mouth). Auto trader is decent but those vehicals are usually $10k+.

Do yourself a favor and check in the province to the east

We have tons of these trucks kicking around the city (Saskatoon). I've found several what I call "good deals" every summer.
