Gas Tank question-Need and expert opinion

Would a gas tank advertised for sale like this "gas tank that will fit any 2 door Jimmy or Blazer or S10-15 Series truck 1994 and older" fit under a 72 and can I just use a fuel sending unit for a carb in this tank or are they fuel injection only.

you could use the sending unit even if it was for fuel injection but you would have to install a regulator turn it down to like 5-6 psi i think it is
