I just got my one piece windows in (withouth the triangles) from 73-87chevytrucks.com. Is there anything i need to know prior or anything i need to look out for during installation? Seems pretty straight forward but it never seems to be as easy as expected

is it easier to do with the doors on or off? Whats with the new bump stops for the hinges....do i HAVE to replace those too? thanks!

I think more than a few guys have been waiting for a board member to share their experience w/any possible installation issues as well as their opinion on the quality of the 'new' kits.

I know I sure want to get them..... but, I'm the type that's got to hear from someone first hand so I know what to expect for my money.

Where in TX are you? Maybe you're local to another board member that can lend a hand or two if the doors do need to come off.

im from west, tx (the town, not the direction..lol) but i have plenty hands to help me with that if need be. I guess im gonna see if the blind hog can find an acorn as grandad used to say

I too am interested in your install. I'm not sure if I will be running the triangle version or not. My thought on the triangel version was it would give me a place to attach the side mirros to, but the non-triangle version is a much cleaner look.

Please keep us posted on the install.

I missed this post.. We haven't gotten our display setup yet, but you can do it on or off the truck, measure twice and cut once.

You HAVE to use the new bumpstop or the door will slam into your fender.
