how does the ac cool when idling. Do you notice a significant warm up?

I'm realy interested in the Cowl close off. Have you went through with it. With my kick panels so ruseted out, and factory AC going on a NON AC 69, the Cowl flap would be just one more added cost to find, order, and or install. Hows the close off working if installed?? Anyone else close off the Cowl?? If so where?? At the cowl or in the fender pane or bothl??

Still have to have the blower motor air vent opened though. I havn't had alot of time this week to realy look at it up close. Measure twice, ask 3 or 4 people, then mention cutting once before picking up a cutoff wheel.


I'm almost positive i don't want to hook up the vacume on this one, but not sure what to do with the void. Maybe fill them up with spray foam. It says water proof but i'm worried about it holding water in some voids. I'm not too concerned about 'max air' or recirculated air, just need it cold when the wife is in it.
