I have a 4" drop in the rear. Shock relocators in place and the drive shaft (a 2-piece) unit is unchanged. Check with Early Classic, for example, to see what they recommend. Their catalog doesn't mention it even with a 6" drop. If you have leaf springs you may be looking at a different event. But the '96 I have, with leaf springs, is also dropped 4" with no change in driveshaft length or mounting.
