Re: How about some pics of 99-06

Picked up this 2000 GMC Sierra back in November. It had been sitting for about 3 years and had a bad transmission. Had that rebuilt and just started driving it daily a couple weeks ago. Had to do a fuel pump yesterday which wasn't too bad. Other than that the only thing I've really done is swap out the dash from a 2002 Escalade. I've got some 20x8.5 Torque Thrust wheels for it but still need tires. It's been fun driving it. Way more power than my 98 F150 LOL

Not a very good picture. 2007 Classic, 51,000 miles. I have added wheels and 265/60/18 tires, 2 inch lowering shackles, tint and new seats. Work in progress.

My 03 Burb. All stock besides a flowmaster and a 1” crank on the stock keys. 105,000 miles. It’s my daily driver and we call it the manvan. Bought it about a month ago. Plans are a 4” lift up front and 3” in back. Some AT’s, Bluetooth stereo and use this rig to avoid a new car payment. Has the 5.3, 4L60e, and g80 locker

02 4wd with 4.8 and 293k on the clock. Rough Country leveling kit w/ shocks and a set of Yukon Denali wheels with 255/75/17 BFG Mud Terrains. Everything works and it doesn't leak a drop. I could turn a profit on it but its hard to part with one that's right and tight in this used truck market.

Re: How about some pics of 99-06

There's a lot of non GMT-800's in here. Maybe a mod could go and remove them. This is the GMT-800 forum, after all. Seems like originally someone misworded the thread and should have put "How about some pics of 99-06 GMT-800s"

Re: How about some pics of 99-06

Guess I'm a bit late to respond to this but .......forum says my '99 is a GMT800, always thought of it as a GMT400. OBS and being a '99 makes it a un-loved cousin maybe?

My 2WD daily with a 5.7 Vortec, cloth interior, rear cargo doors, (which I prefer over the hatch offering), usual P/S, A/C, tilt...etc. Bit of a plain jane as it were but I like it. Added the square body rally wheels after purchase. Paint shows some wear but runs good, 230K on the clock.

I would still say that's a GMT400 or OBS, probably just the Tahoe/Suburban holdover after the pickup truck model change. Looks like a good rig. Mine is a 93 and has similar miles and I'm still really glad to have it and enjoy driving it.

The 99 & 2000 SUV were still GMT400 trucks

The 1987 to '92 RV pickup trucks & SUVs were made alongside the 1988 to '92 CK T400 pickups.

GM did the same thing with the T400 trucks & SUVs and T800 chassis trucks in 1999 and 2000

The T800 & T900 were both available in 2007
