I'm back...with new tires!!!

I haven't been lurking around the board much lately. A few months ago I had a house fire that forced me into living with a buddy for the last 4 months. Meanwhile, the Critter has been having a slumber party in a differnet buddies shop about 30 miles away. I get out there once every few weeks to poke around and see how she's doing. Today, me and JTRUX liberated her from the buddie's shop and drove it down to the local tire shop. I mounted some new (to me) 35x12.5-15 BGF MT's on the good ol 70's style mags that were already on it. I put in some before-and-after pics. The before was with worn out MT AT 33x10.5-15s. The bad news is I had to put it back into my buddies shop for the time being. The good news is I will be buying a new house sometime in September that is on 5.5 acres, so pleanty of room for my toys and A NEW SHOP!!! Looking back, maybe I should have put the white letters to the outside, it kinda fits the old school rims. Any opinions???

I hate you! The fluid is all just part of the before-and-after effect!!!

I have contemplated the same question for years about my Blazer. Now that I have seen your before and after pictures I have to say black walls out looks best on our color Blazers. I'm a big fan or white walls, just not on our Blazers.

Those 35X12.50 BFG MTs look right at home on your Blazer with that lift. I have a set of 33X10 BGF MTs on right now and would like to move up a size on a 15x10 wheel eventually.

Any issues getting those 35" tires to fit?

Looks Great!!!! You stole my truck, only I have four eyes.

X3 on the fav. wheels. Can zero rates go on the front axle??

Sorry for your bad luck, but it looks like it turned into a positive. Good luck on your new shop, must be nice to 5.5 acres. J.

These wheels are 10 inches wide but I haven't had a chance to measure the backspacing. The picture that is closeup of the wheel/tire is actually while I was up on a pile of dirt checking out the spring flex. I don't think I will have any trouble with the front at all, but out back is the original springs with 6inches of shoddy lift spacers. With this, the REAR will be the first to rub. When I order my new rear lift springs, that will probably change. It wasn't quite touching in this picture, but it was as close as it could be.

...and your barely flexin'.

Seriously, on the trail it'll try to flex WAY more.

Keep going up to the top of the dirt hill and see what ya still have for clearance.

He doesn't have a front driveshaft so i don't think that will be happening, in that pic that's as far as he could go!! He's in the lifted 2wd club.

Don't lie! You know good and well I have a front driveshaft! I put in a picture of it for proof. And if I remember correctly, you just reinstalled yours after a few months of it sitting in the back end of your truck. My house nearly burned down and I have been living in a temporary housing situation, whats your excuse?

Re: I'm back...with new tires!!!

Good to see you back Critter, I knew you had not posted for awhile, but I forgot about the house fire. Nice choice for tires, I love BFG's, but I went with the wimpy A/T's on mine.
