lights

i'm finaly getting my truck done and having lighting problems.i have head lights, turn signals and 4 ways but no tail, stop, park,dome and instrament panele lights the gauges all work as do the turn indicaters and brake warning lights. are the side markers suposed to work with the signals or parking lights?

those are all on the same fuse, check the fuse, if it's good, then it's time to check fuse connections and harness testing time.

After checking what has been mentioned above and still not working, check the connector at the instrument panel itself. If you've had it off, the lands on the printed circuit board on the instrument panel may get damaged when you plug the flat connector in and they get shorted. (Item 36: http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/cb/0051.asp )


Another thing to check is the brake switch at the brake pedal.

Side markers are supposed to work with the parking lights.Turn signals and brake lights are the same.In the FAQ's is a post either with schematics or a link to them.They may help some.

turn signals and brake lights are the same filiment on the bulb, but not the same fuse. Everything he listed is on the one circuit/fuse.
