Will do. My house should be done and ready to move into in a couple weeks. Then the truck will be in pieces!

Re: '67 Short Step #2
Finally got to work on the truck again. I've got the doors taken apart for the one piece windows, and stripped down to bare metal. Also roughed in the bodywork on the front of the hood so it at least closes now and put the rear rollpan on.
Is one of my windows the blue tint? |

Re: '67 Short Step #2
It's too cold to work in the garage, so I've been playing on Gimp. Here's a really nice stepside See Ten posted which I will use to show what my truck should look like when done.(I added the white top and gave it a shave.)

Re: '67 Short Step #2
That will look nice but how about a pic with the center of the hood rib in cream and not high lighted like you have it. I think it will give it a cleaner look.

Re: '67 Short Step #2
I actually don't have that grille. That truck was on ebay a couple years back and I'm pretty sure it's a custom made piece.

Re: '67 Short Step #2
If you like #1 then by all means do what suites your taste not ours. We all have different opinions of what look neat. Besides its your truck not ours..

I will. I was just curious to see what some other members thought. I've been set on that paint scheme since I was building my first C10!

Re: '67 Short Step #2
I just saw your post in body and paint. With base/clear you can lay out all of your colors before you clear, just give an hour or so between two-toning to be sure you don't leave any tape lines.
