I have tried both 'saddle' and 'dark saddle' from Brothers for the backs of my blazer seat panels. Neither is a close match. They are both too light and too tan. Anyone found a vinyl dye that matches 1972 chevy truck color 'saddle'?

Yes,go to an automotive paint supplier with a piece of saddle from your truck.They can scan it and computer-match it.They make custom spray cans for around $12.At least that`s what my supplier charges.The can put any type of coating in a spray can and they also sell bonding enhancers.

I am a technical advisor for Parasol Inc. We manufacture and distribute vinyl dyes. I would encourage you to be careful with any type of vinyl dye you purchase. Many so called "vinyl dyes" are merely thinned out paints. They end up peeling and flaking. Please make sure you choose an actual dye; one that soaks into the vinyl. It will make a big difference in the long run. Also, prep work is extremely important.
