Post lookie what the UPS man bringeth! (kick panels with speakers)

these are made by custom auto sound. i got em off ebay new for $137 with the upgraded pioneer 130watt speakers but you can buy them direct for like $129 with the lower speakers or $189 for the pioneers. if you guys were lookin for kick panels speakers for your older trucks these are really nice, if you have no clue about fiberglassing your own stuff these are for you, i think you can even get them without speakers for only $80 or something. cant wait to hook them up in my 72 and actually have some tunes in my truck for gods sake

well tell us how they work installed.... i think there real cool
and no crying about someone sniping you on ebay.... its just stupid if you were willing to pay more you should have put a higher max bid..... if you think sniping is lame than you shouldnt even be looking on ebay, its part of the game everything i buy off ebay i snipe, why? because i can get it cheaper that way than placing a max bid and someone else going and bumping it up with alot of time left....
now someone that uses sniping tools to win a auction i agree thats cheap

i used esnipe for it and im not ashamed to say that i did.

the key reason i like to use esnipe is that i can place my bid on their servers and then cancel it later on if i decide i dont really want it. i used to just sit and wait myself to the last 2 min and bid but sometimes i would forget an auction was ending that i wanted to bid on.

so i used this for the 2 simple reasons
1. theres no point in me bidding at the beggining and just upping the prices.
2. i like the fact that i can place my bid and then think about it for a few days and a few hours before the auction ends i can change my mind and cancel the bid.

i dont understand why people get so upset over getting "sniped". the simple fact is the highest bidder wins. if you lose to a sniper then A. you werent willing to spend as much as the other guy or B. you were a schmuck and didnt bid as much as you really were willing to spend.

ive used esnipe before and still lost auctions, why? cause someone was willing to pay more than me and im fine with that. just because i use esnipe doesnt guarantee i win anything, i just find it alot more convenient for the reason that i can change my mind and cancel a bid, which is alot better than placing bids and then retracting them...

Thumbs down

i retract what i said earlier about my being sorry then... the whole point of ebay is to bid on items and watch what happens, not have some AUTOMATIC bidding service do it for you, lamer. I sat there for 5 days being the high bidder. I watched, and I wanted it bad enough to have it on my mind and check it everychance I got. It goes to show how lazy people are becoming now, you had to have some service do it for you. I should have put the max I wanted to pay but I'm glad you won that auction, it makes me feel like the bigger man for having enough patience and responsibility to pay attention to it rather than have someone else do it for me.

Narkoleptik,

i have come to the conclusion that you are a complete imbecile.

"the whole point of ebay is to bid on items and watch what happens"

and this holds true to everyone because you are god and have set forth the commandments for using ebay? no, that is not the point to ebay, that is your opinion of ebay, just like my opinion is that ebay is for buying and selling items in an auction type fashion

"I sat there for 5 days being the high bidder. I watched, and I wanted it bad enough to have it on my mind and check it every chance I got"

you know what? i sat there for 5+ days too, i watched, i bid too, i wanted it bad as well! but OBVIOUSLY you didnt want it as bad as i did or you would have bid higher, no?

"It goes to show how lazy people are becoming now"

i see we have a disagreement in beliefs here, last time i checked being a full time college student with 14 units a week as well as working 2 different part time jobs would make me the opposite of lazy, maybe you disagree?

"you had to have some service do it for you. "

actually i filled out the auction number, my user id, my password, my maximum bid and then clicked the "place bid" button. seems to me that i did the same amount of typing and clicking as you did? no one placed my bid for me, i placed it myself except i used this marvelous thing called modern technology to delay and enter my bid at a certain time.

"it makes me feel like the bigger man for having enough patience and responsibility to pay attention to it rather than have someone else do it for me."

patience? me placing my bid through esnipe did not end the auction any sooner, in fact i placed that bid at the beginning of the auction before you bid so i may very well have had more time to wait than you did.

responsibility? ill admit it, im absent minded sometimes and forget stuff. but when it comes to responsibility i believe working to support myself, instead of mooching off mom and dad, and going to college to become an engineer, so i can one day support a family and my hobbies, are much more of a responsibility than bidding on a ****ing auction. that is what i put my effort into, not sitting looking at ebay all day.

i pity the fact that you believe youre the "bigger man" for sitting and oogling over an auction day and night. well guess what? we both watched and drooled over the auction. we both placed a bid manually ourselves on our computers. we both had to wait to the end to see the results. but what differed is the fact that your maximum bid was 135, whereas mine was in the vicinity of 160 something. seems to me that you are a sore loser and have to point fingers as to the reason you lost the auction, when in reality you have only yourself to blame for not bidding enough.

and thank you all i will enjoy the kickpanels and let you all know how they sound.

I'm almost certain this kind of argument has presents itself on daily basis between fellow eBay auctioneers
What is there to argu...best bid won.
