if it had a steel floor, it wasn't stock. If I'm not mistaken, it was like that till 88 when they went to the new body style.

Do you have any picutres of the engine compartment? I would like to see the twin battery setup.

Why'd he swap the 14 bolt in, did he blow up the original axle?

As far as I know, that's what came in it. It's an 8 lug truck with discs on the fornt.

That`s a Dana60 which came in GMC 3/4t trucks and some Chevys.
"All" Stepsides were woodfloor.The Sportsides went to steel.Last Stepside made was`87 shortbed.Longbeds stopped in`84,iirc.

Did that truck have a headliner?I still say it`s an original SuperCustom with SierraGrande "Q"s added,until I see the spud or spid or whatever that dog calls them....pure curiousity.
