The standard three speed sixes did not have the crossmember for the trans. When I saw mine for the first time, I thought the same thing you all did.
Now I have a fully synchronized saginaw three speed on my GMC. It has the place in the rear for a rubber trans. mount but I just installed it like my previous non sychronized trans. with no crossmember. |
