New purchases/Saved from possible crusher

This weekend I found and purchased two "new" chevy trucks.

Both were red tagged by the small town they are in. The city will tow the trucks and the two other cars in this yard unless the owners get them gone themselves or dont have them registered/inspected. They give 60 days then they take them away. So, I took a chance stopped by and basiclly made the deal.

Both are 71's one a I6, 3 speed the other a V8, auto Cheyenne. Bad news is only one title, good news both short beds.

Loads of rust but many many good parts. And YES, I got the camper top too...

The price was right and they will now go to the farm..... Unknown what to do with them but I did save them from the crusher....

BTW: The other two vehicles are for sale also. Anyone want the guys number?

Frames rusty? Swb ones are always worth having around.

It's always good to hear a couple more were rescued from the jaws of death.

Dont know about frames, From what I could see ( engine compartment areas on both trucks and bed area on white one were all I looked at ) I didnt see anything major or any signs of bent frames.

Funny thing Is I have a SWB frame up for sale right now becasue I have too many trucks already.
