1972 column & dash pad color for red & white truck

My buddy has a '72 Custom/10 4x4, red w/white between the mouldings, and of course the red & white interior...currently it was a black dash pad and a black column...are these correct? I always thought the column & dash pad were color matched, and should be red...but niether of us has ever seen these pieces in red?

Thanks!

I've seen red dash pads, and a red column, but not steering wheel.
Is it a tilt by chance? All tilts were black.

I've seen red and white Dash pads but don't remember red steering wheels. Maybe we can get one of the vendors to tell us if they make them.HEEEEEEYYYYYYYYY TIM CHRISTIAN,WES or PAUL,"Do they make them?"

You never see white dash pads, even with white interiors.

To see the reason, but a big white piece of paper on the dash and drive into the sunlight. The glare on the windshield will blind you.

What color is it between the dash pad and the windshield? As a general rule that's a good indicator of what color the dash pad should be.

The "Parchment" interiors had Sandalwood pads and wheels/columns unless w/tilt which had black.Therewere red steering wheels with red interiors as well as pads & columns.
