Re: Whats your trucks name
My brother named my 69 C-30 car hauler "Brutus", so I named my 67 C-50 wrecker "Goliath"! Though unofficially named, my 69 C-10 is usually referred to as "the red truck" and my 67 C-30 is known as "The dually" when I tell my wife which truck I'm taking up the road!

Re: Whats your trucks name
I call it c/10 or k/10. I guess I don’t have much of an imagination. Usually if I’m referring to it. I call it “my truck” “The truck” or the 4 wheel drive /the 2wd
Not very creative to say the least. |

Re: Whats your trucks name
I had never thought about it. Since almost everyone does name an auto and mostly female I will call her "Grace." And when she gets me there I will call her "Amazing Grace." You just gotta love on them a little bit for a few extra miles, love on the the long haul is a friend in deed. David

Mine's Eeyore, when I got it, it had that "All right if I gotta" attitude. Now after the engine re-build she's (Yes Eeyore was a girl!) gotta a different song!

Re: Whats your trucks name
My previous 2wd was named ""Rusty" by its previous owners. It was vermillion, patina and rust holes so it fit very well.
My current truck was originally called "Baby Blues" because... 1. Orignally was going to look at it the day that my daughter was born.(bought it a week later). 2. It was originally light blue with a white top. 3. Wife was not happy at first that I was out working on the truck with some of what little spare time I had when there is a new baby in the house. I am thinking of changing it to either "Hector" because that name is carved into the dash of the better cab that I recently got from CG. (Thanks again!!) With possibly a middle name of Craig because the original truck and so many parts have been aquired from craigslist.com Baby Blues VS Hector Craig time will tell. Good possibility it will return to light blue.

Re: Whats your trucks name
I like to call my 71 4x4 " The Bluedress", it's short for Devil in a Bluedress.

Re: Whats your trucks name
"The Beast" is what we lovingly call my '67 DD. It's red-oxide, flat black, medium blue and is about to have a splash of harvest gold tossed in the mix. It's got 3" exhaust through 40 series flows, dumpin' in front of the rear tires, the bed has no wood left in it and all the mounting bolts are loose. The suspension bushings squeak, the alternator bracket rattles and everytime I hit a bump I look in my mirror to make sure no important parts have been left in the road. Hence the name "BEAST".

The ol' gal is Rusty the Rebel and she acts that way still, even without the rust any more.

My '67 is Ticker, because the old 283's valves are a little noisy.

Re: Whats your trucks name
I've named my dog and my kids, but not the truck......any name/s my truck ever had was temporary and could never be repeated on this website for fear of being permanently banned.
Name my truck....that's just silly. I do have my name painted under the driver's side window and the little lady's name under the passenger side window.......RIGHT!
