Thanks, its by no means a show truck. Trucks like Mudder67 and Pont's make me want to throw rocks at mine. But its being built to be a hunting truck.
36" tires and 4" springs and 2" body on the lift. Put me in for the goofball award. Notice the right rear reflector and the close proximity of the 4x4 post in pic three. Notice the absence of same in pic four. Score:4x4-1, reflector-0. Oh well, got all new lenses waiting to go on after a quick coat of Ace hardware's paint.

Don't say that crap man. At least you can drive yours and have fun. Mines just a pavement pounder now. Did you have that bed or did you get it from someone here on the board? I'd love to build a truck like yours. Keep it up its looking great!

Thanks for sticking me in the same class as Mudder, I'm flattered! I only wish mine was considered a show truck.
Your truck is looking awesome by the way!

Its a 68 cab and front end. Ive had the bed for awhile. One of the reasons I took it off was to hook this up.

Looks good. I have nothing against really clean 4x4s, but if I build one I don't want to be afiraid to use it. lol

hope i am not stealing your post 6869704x4, the quick version of the story is... i was stopped in the left hand lane, waiting for a car to turn left into a parking lot, the telephone truck (white chevy) came up over the tracks, car infront of him swerved, he wasnt even looking forward and hit the brakes just as he hit me, the car infront of me just turned.. i couldnt get going intime. he nosed under me at about 40-45 mph, picked up the rear of my truck and made me do a 90deg left turn and go across 2 lanes into the toyota stopped at the exit of the parking lot. remember i was stopped! the "blood" is actually oil, i had about a case of oil in a sealed drip pan in the bed, when he hit me if slammed the drip pan into the tailgate and the oil went everywhere.. they called out the fire dept to clean up all the oil on the road. had a major road down to 1 lane during rush hour.. was on my way home from paying my INS.... i was the only vehicle to drive away though.. 2 others were towed!
