Need opinions.

I'm thinking about solving two troubles with one massive mod to both trucks. What I'm thinking about doing is taking the entire front of the 63 and swapping it over to the 65. The only thing that will be left is the bed. This way i can have one complete truck that is easy to register because i have the title to the 65. The cab floor is shot on the 65 and i'm missing over $400 bucks in stuff for it if i bought everything new. I'm no body man and don't have the funds to pay someone to do it. Plus I need to make room for a K5 i found for the little lady. So one of the trucks has to go. I can't let the 65 frame go due to the fact that I just got a brand new short step bed from 62ChevyStep. What do ya'll think of my idea? Any advice is always welcome. I'm a rookie on his first project. Please be kind.

I don't about your DMV. But some states, if the frame serial and cab serial #"s don't match you need both titles or a salvage title. miss N.M. born raised in Socorro.

I think with this one your going to have to decide what you want . Do you want a LWB fleet or a SWB step. That is the real question. I like fleets but Im not a fan of long wheel base trucks they cant fit in my garage very well and I dont think they look as good a a SWB when its a 2wd. but I do like the LWB better if its a 4x4. I know this doesnt help much but you have to decide with one will make you happier after that the choice on swaping or not swaping will be easy use the parts you have to make the truck you want.
