Re: Will This Fit?

If you're changing carriers and pinions and they came from a chevy 12 bolt then they should swap.

Re: Will This Fit?

so 3.73 and 3.07 are the same size?

i had been wondering this myself, if a 3.73 posi would fit in with my 3.07's, to make 3.07 posi, if you will.

thanks for saving me the time for asking! .

-Sam.

Re: Will This Fit?

373 is 4 series carrier and its stronger and 3.07 is 3 series the diff is in the thickness of the part where the ring gear bolts on if you look close the 4 series also has thicker stronger webs on that piece. now if that set is out of a car it could be a 3 series carrer and i don't know if they will interchange but it looks like a truck carrier to me

Re: Will This Fit?

well I got it in, the 373's were thicker. Now what kind of past do you use to make sure that the teeth are even. backlash feels the same
