i know big mirrors are one of the first thing removed when someone starts "hot-roddin" their truck, but man, those things sure do work good

Davidh, it doesn't steer bad at all. The tire is large enough with a relatively small foot-print so there's not a lot of effort required. Like anything else though, if you're in a tight spot it helps to be moving slightly instead of scrubbing the tread on a stand-still.
I'll be out in the shop tommorrow, I'll see if I can find the original screws and post a pic if you need one.

streetstar, I agree! after driving this with real mirrors, it's a pain in the neck to drive my wife's Pacifica with a mirror just a little larger than your fist. I didn't really "hot-rod" it though, it's just cleaned up a little.

looks like a regular nut filed down or should I say bolt filed down. I need them where they are not too long. I dont to make unecessary bolt scrapes, dents from too long of bolt.
