Attatching Inner Fender Seals

They were attached with what looked to be staples from the factory?

What have you guys done when putting on these new seals?

Re: Attatching Inner Fender Seals

I bent up my own staples using 1/16" soft steel wire (mechanics wire), drilled out the holes to 1/16", pushed the staple through then peened over the ends with a hammer and dolly.

I use s/stl paper clips so they do not rust and curl them under with a pair of needle nose. We do sell the staples if you want a more factory look that no one will see. They come in a brick just like normal staples.

I glued mine on with weatherstrip adhesive. Much cleaner look.
