I have another question about drive sahft length-I have been told a c-20 long bed truck driveshaft (4x2) measures 70.25"...can anyone confirm that for sure? also is a big block c-20 the same length drive shaft as a small block? The big block seems to fit alot closer to the radiater than the small block so I need to know the difference in the shafts. thanks

absolute best way to determine proper driveshaft length is to use tapemeasure

yeah that's a great idea, however, i only have a small block set up from the factory 350/400trans....i'm putting in a 468/400...thanks

A one piece might be that long, but mine has a two piece drive shaft with three universal bearings. I didn't think any long bed came with a one piece?

68calirat-thats the same thing I have a two piece with 3 universals-i read somewhere that set up was 70.25"-but i havn't confirmed if there is a difference yet between a bbc driveshaft and a smallblock driveshaft.....thanks for the reply,,,,,,
