Has anyone ever dealt with outlaw trans?
I looking at getting a mildly built 700r4 and these guys seem to have what I'm looking for at a decent price. I have never heard of them before and was hoping to get some feedback before I give them all that money.
Thanks |

What kind of warranty are they offering?
How long have they been in business? |

Here is his website.
http://www.outlawtransmissions.com/v...es/default.htm Here is the ebay link http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GM-70...QQcmdZViewItem He's going to set it up for torque converter lockup, put in the output shaft for my 205, a new beast sun shell, and include a new torque converter. The grand total is 845 if I supply the output shaft. |

Re: Has anyone ever dealt with outlaw trans?
I got a 700 r4 out of bow tie overdrive out of cal. about 5 years ago. They have 3 stages of trannys. I got stage 2 (good for up to 600 hp) Think the price was about 1000.00. Very good people. They have cars with hinged cross members, and test drive every one before they ship it. Have put 100,000 miles on it so far, still works as new. It's in my burbon, and has hauled cars on my car hauler half way across the country a couple times. After you get it in, you have to call them to tell them the pressures in each gear etc. It's like you are adopting their baby. Also no core needed.
