Question power steering to manual / need advice

poweer steering pump about shot on my 84.

Instead of replacing , thought it might be a good time to put in manual box

anybody done this ? Is it more than its worth / do you try to find one in junk yard ? or what

VERY HARD TO STEER when I REMOVED THE POWER STEERING BELT/ SO THAT WANT WORK

Any input on this would be greatly appreciated

I would replace the pump with a new one and keep the power steering. New pumps are fairly cheap.

New manual box is $350 - that's the way I'm going! (need room for turbo...)

have you steered one of these with manual? mine had it and it was the first thing I changed, they steer like a tank.

im sure you are right . It was just a thought. after a little research & responses from the forum , will just replace what I HAVE. MAY EVEN JUST HAVE TO REPLACE THE LINES .

manual steering isnt too bad until you have to park on a city street... in tight circles its a real dog... if ya can keep the power go for it
