Re: Console pics for HeavyD
Hey PT, great work!!! Not many folks would have the patience to restore them to that level. I did want to make a suggestion for you to check out. I've done some plastic parts and had them soda blasted. There was zero damage to the plastic, it was fast, non-toxic, and pretty cheap. I was impressed enough to check out buying a small blaster for myself. Not sure where you live but if there is a soda blaster nearby, I would bet he would have it completely stripped in 2 hours or less. Someone else on the board may have a different result but this is worth checking out.

Re: Console pics for HeavyD
I am listing a black cup holder tonight. As far as the restoration charge it all depends on the condition of you console and what kind it is, seat belt style consoles run more because of the ashtray and ashtray bezel. If I restore one that I have and sell it out right seat belts run around 275 and cup holders 250 plus shipping. This one is f/s on the 67-72 parts board now.

Re: Console pics for HeavyD
Do you have a closeup of the nuts, bolts & washers connecting the top & bottom? Also, can you buy the ashtray bezels? Thanks.
