Swapping over 5 lug??? Help???
My truck is 70 Setpiside with six lug drum brakes. A member on this site was nice enough to give my 72 spindles, 5 lug rotors, and calipers. I also have 72 Tie rods. I have already ordered 72 upper and lower ball joints. Is there anything else I need. Thanks.

Do you have 5 -lug rear axles and drums yet. If not I would recommend a kit from ECE. It includes the axles and drums and does not require you to mess with any of the assembly on the rear.
You may want to check and see if the '72 outer tie rod will attach to the early sleeve. I know for sure on the '73+ you have to get an adapter to adapt the '68 inner to the later outer. i would double check.

Thanks for the heads up! I will do some checking today. I bought the adapter sleeves but do not know if I will need to use them...

Re: Swapping over 5 lug??? Help???
When using factory 71/72 spindles with 67-69 control arms you'll have to grind down the "tit" on the 71-72 spindles, as it will hit the bumpstop on the control arm too early and not give you the proper lock to lock steering you need. Count the turns from lock to lock on the current suspension set-up and slowly grind down the "tit's until you reach the proper amount of turns.
