Factory tilt in 1970??

Just wondering if anyone has a 1970 truck with a factory installed tilt column in it. I have a '70 dealer mailer that shows a tilt column as an accessory, but after owning, trading, parting 90+ trucks I have never seen one??? Please post pic. of glovebox decal if you have one!! Thanks.
Joshua

The Comfortilt operation is shown in the `70 owners manual.

Re: Factory tilt in 1970??

Joshua,
my cousin and myself parted over 200 of these trucks starting back in the 80s and i've never seen nor owned a 70 truck with a documented "factory" tilt. i'm not saying they were not available, i have 70 model dealer info stating they were available, but if someone has a truck with a documented "factory" unit, it would be a rare bird indeed.

Re: Factory tilt in 1970??

70 was a big year for options. it was the first year for tilt, tool box, the speed warning was no longer available, etc. etc. I guess I haven't seen that many 71-72's with tilt so I don't see a 70 being any different. hope this helps
