4.3 mods
has anyone done anything to a 4.3 for performance or milage??
will a 5.3 bolt in were a 4.3 sits? what all is needed |

I had flowmasters on my Blazer 4.3
I also had the tranny rebuilt with a 1st/2nd , 2nd/3rd shift kit installed also a new torque convertor. Averaged 20-22 mpg highway.

You can do the typical intake, exhaust and computer tune mods. They usually help out because you got more air in and out, and you optimize the computer for it at the same time.
For a muffler, I'd recommend a 50 or 70 series Flowmaster. I think 90 degree V6's can sound a little ricey at higher RPM's with a loud exhaust. If you go to an exhaust shop that is familiar with performance exhaust, they can give you a good recommendation. |

whats the best comp for the money i am looking for milage and performance i know its only a 6 but i seen some qwick ones
