72 GMChev
Soooo....
I bought a 72 GMC short step off e-bay. Flew to Idaho & drove her home, December 1, '05. Nice truck in the e-bay ad, full of bondo in real life. figured I'd spend a couple grand (yeah, right)& have a nice truck when done. She started as a 350 4 speed GMC will be 350/350 with a chev front end. Sand blasted the frame & painted with por 15, then chassis black. (nice product) I went with the CPP tubular trailing arm kit, drop center cross member, c notch, drop spindles, tubular upper & lower control arms & motor mounts, new trans mount & front sway bar.

Re: 72 GMChev
I'll try to find some before pics. I need to dig into the old 'puter.
I stripped the cab & found it to be in pretty bad shape. I found a 72 4x4 on CL for $500 with a nice long bed & front end, & a better cab than I had. Took the cab & front end & parted the rest for $500. gotta love free parts. Here's some pics of the new cab:

Re: 72 GMChev
The CPP stuff is good, from my limited experience. They handled customer service issues good too.
