Dana 60 Crossover steering

Hey, did a search... no answers.

Can the driver's side steering arm be switched over to the passenger side to accomplish crossover steering? The kingpin cap from the passenger side then is switch over to the driver side. The drag ling adjuster sleeve could be split and a rod welded into the sleeve between each tie rod end.

The height of the steering arm is a concern... but I'd still be using the flat 44" leafs. This would place the steering arm just in front of center of the axle, not behind.

Your experience is appreciated!

you can't reuse the arm the stock arm goes front to back and the crossover goes side to side arms should be pretty easy to find i'v got a few off ebay before also i wouldn't try and lengthen the tie rod make one out of dom or have one made you also need a 2wd steering box for crossover
