Re: 68 clip on 00 silveraldo

I don't hate it, I'm closer to crazy redneck, but there are things I think I would like more on it. Definitely the grill trim would help. My own $.02 is it would fit in a lot more on a regular cab truck vice the extended cab.

Some of the conversion I like, some I don't. By the way, that 53 looks alot nicer in person than in a picture, but yes, that particular one does not excite me at all.

Re: 68 clip on 00 silveraldo

I like it, but it may have been easier to just put the current Tahoe/Suburban front end on it, which imo is a very close relative to the 67/8 grille.

Aamof, I plan to get a picture of my truck parked in the line of new Chevy suvs at the dealer sometime, that is if my dealer friend won't mind moving one so I can park in the line. I think it would be a cool picture.

He actually did a lot of fab, he had to widen it and graft the stuff at the fenders I have the article in a magazine its a few months old in a truckin or sport truck I'll have to find it. He flattened out the grill area to make it look more modern.

I dig it but I would have used the 07 tahoe front end it gives a modern look w/split grille and single headlight design like the 67/68 in fact I've toyed with the thought of putting the 07 tahoe front end on my 97 pickup
