WTB Fleetside Tailgate 67-72

This is my first post in classifieds so if I have done something wrong I will correct it. I did pay my 25.00 subscriber fee so I hope Im good to go here.

I am in Central West Arkansas on the OK border in FortSmith and am looking for a RUST FREE tailgate for a fleetside 67-72 truck. The tailgate can have dents and/or flaws as I will be most likely be doing a tailgate skin on the outer but would prefer NO BOWING or NO RUST. The inner face of the tailgate can have flaws as well as I have no problem fixing a few spots, but Im really loooking for a rust free, bow free tailgate to work with in a decent price range.

If you have a rust free tailgate, with no bows in the lower rail or upper rail area and its for sale or possibly trade please let me know your location and how much you are looking to get. Pictures with detail would be great.Since the outer skin will be changed,it wont matter if its GMC or Chevrolet.

Thanks for looking.

I can also be reached at this email below.

Re: WTB Fleetside Tailgate 67-72

I just wanted to say hello from Mansfeild. I never see any old trucks out anymore. I get mine out from time to time but the 4.11 gears like that gas. I love these year model trucks, 67 and 68 the best though. I don't have a gate but I'll ask a guy down the road from me and like you know tomorrow. There is a 69 chevy that has been in the same spot for 12 years and it still looks to be in decent shape but will look closer. Ill be at the Ben Garren show March 1st but not in my pos 67. A red 07 Jeep JK but I'll have my Chevy in the parking lot, I dont wanna get laughed at...lol.

Thanks class01,if you want to send me a description of the places where dents are and such I would appreciate it. I do have a rust free right side fender I could use a trade material.

Re: WTB Fleetside Tailgate 67-72

The top edge has a lot of small dents which give the appearance of a bow.But the gate is very straight. No rust. On the back there are some holes that look like something punched through, that area is very solid not rust holes.
