Stepped/dropped A arms

People call em different things dropped or stepped.

These are good for about a 2.5 inch drop. You can keep your drums if you use these. Or you can keep your disks. You can also use lower springs with these. But you can not combine these with dropped spindles. If you have drums now you can convert to disks later by just using a stock disk spindle.

These cost 300 dollars plus shipping when I got them. They are heavy. I would have received 50 dollars back if I shipped them the cores. Unfortunately that time period has lapsed and I missed out.

They have never been installed. You can have them for 225 dollars plus shipping. I dont have any way to weigh them here but Im guessing they must be around 30lbs?

Re: Stepped/dropped A arms

Just wondering why can you not combine with a set of 2.5 drop spindles. Will they rub or not turn properly. I'm interested but I have a set off ECE spindles and wanting to get about four and a half to five inch drop. I have a set of stock new springs and with those dropped lowere A-arms that would give me five inches. Any info would be helpful.

Thank You

Re: Stepped/dropped A arms

Not to hi-jack this FS thread, BUT- When using drop spindles and lowered control arms, the combined drop will result in the wheel interfering with the lower control arm. You can only use a spindle/ spring OR control arm / spring combination.

If I am mistaken, please correct me. It has been a lot of years since I ran my first set of dropped control arms.

Re: Stepped/dropped A arms

These are sold. crews is correct on why you cant combine dropped spindles and lowered arms.

If anyone else was thinking about these you should PM hotrodhomi, I believe he has a set he isnt using anymore and would like to sell them.
