master cylinder question for disc conversion.
Got a master cylinder and the rest of a disc brake setup from a 91 Burb. The discs bolted right up especially since I got the the spindles off the donor. Had to re route the lines through the frame. Brake have power boost, the smaller one that sticks way out past the cowl. The 91 master cylinder won't accept the "push rod" from the booster, the rod is too long by about 2 inches. The 70 master cylinder end has a deep hole recessed in it to take the rod, the 91 is almost flush with the end. Can I use the original master cylinder with the 91 proportioning valve or should I try to find a compatible master cylinder for disc brakes?
