slo-go 67II is No problem with Me, I ordered some brake lines, and i should be able to pick them up tomorrow. Hopefully we get some work done on this not much left keeping us from installing the engine/trans.

Small update we have the serpentine setup completed. We decided to shave the wire channel instead of capping it. still need a final grind, and few touch up welds in a couple of places. Will continue sanding the firewall, underside and inside the cab to bare metal. Trying to get it to my buddy's paint shop in a couple of weeks.

be thank full to have you kid working with you, mine wants to skate board. he is good at it. after i get my cab painted and set on the frame i am going to try to get him to help with reassemble. your truck is looking good.

ok we are making a little progress, currently we are sanding the interior of the cab, I cutout, made a patch and welded in where the floor shifter went today..

,.Just the other day my son was helping me. I told him to go get something from the house he never came back!!! I was like what the hell is he doing!!! I had mud all over me. So I don't want to walk all the way from the back of 2 acers so, I walk to the front he's got mud all in the house and he's playing the play station .So I tell him what happen? He tell me I'm tired , "I said man if you don't get your but out here and help me. Do you think when you get a job!! you can tell your Boss you tired ,do I tell you I 'm tired and then just come home in don't go back to work, or don't pay bills we have to work so do you..

He will thank you later. I thank my mom all the time.

Yeah, i went junk yarding at a local yard and all were scattered around. I then located a fresh '94 suburban.... and here we are... I will post a couple of updated pics soon.

we are making more progress, me have welded up more holes made by the PO. we have the entire inside cab sanded down as well, we need to cut and weld in a couple of patches on some rust we found when we removed the windshield.

Since i switched to the '72 front and rear suspension, I went with '72 brake lines etc. I bent, cut , and flared the rear brake line and we fabbed a mounting point for the rear brakeline fitting on the frame.

We made some progress on the dash repair, i cutout the rust, and hand formed the replacement with hammer and dolly and some knee bending, pie cuts etc. It took me a couple of tries, but am happy overall with the outcome since i dont have any metal working tools etc...

Nice work. I'm with you on limited sheetmetal tools. It makes a person get creative on how too shape a piece of metal. Keep it up.

Hoping with enough practice that i get to your skillset one day. It would be nice if i was able to paint my own vehicles one day and the job turned out as nice as the paint looks on yours.

Thanks Josh. getting a lil closer everytime we work on it. I tell my son that as well. I could probably help you , but dont think i have the skill set to do the conversion by myself...
