Post Gas neck in tailight housing

Has anybody got any info or pics of this mod? I have a 67 and I don't have a side marker light to put it behind. Any help is appreciated.Thanks......JB

I have not done this yet, but I should be looking into this within the next 3 weeks.

There is a photo of one from someones Blazer on my web page.

I will write up a article on the progress of mine when I do it.

I have thought of that also. What I planned on doing is buying a gas door from a current production Honda Odessey. The main thing for my idea is a system that allows point of rotation below the opening in the bed side. Then weld a support inside the bedside that would allow the gas door to be welded to. Then fab the gas door end to attach to the taillight housing...
...At least it sound simple.

Someone from the board did it and posted some pics of it. Don't remember their name but it was an orange colored long fleet. Looked like whoever did the behind the tail light filler mod on that truck did a pretty good job.

Wish we had the search.
Spell check would be nice too.
