weekend project for the wife
well here is a little project my friends and i did over the last weekend. bought the blazer about 4months ago. It had sat for 2yrs untouched, changed the plugs add some new gas, new battery and fired up. it is for the wife to turn into her toy so she could go out and play with the rest of us. it has been a great blaze so far, all the power windows, locks, heat/AC works great.
payed= $400 used 4" front lift leaf spring kit w/shocks= free used 4" blocks rear=free used 35" swamper tires+rims=$175 new/used front drive line=$30 (gotta love good friends) coming soon: straight doors and fenders (cause i hate dents i did not make), tuffer front bumper (01' HD modified), rear bumper, tow hooks, manual hubs (automatics went out on 4x4 test drive), little better tune up, new tires, wench, painted the way she wants, and whatever breaks as i go threw this list as time goes on bare with me......cell phone pics

Makes all the dents go away with the bigger tires.

Re: weekend project for the wife
The lift and tires really changed the look of that K5. Sounds like a fun project.

Re: weekend project for the wife
cool, i would really like to get my wife a 1969-72 blazer so she might take some interest in my old trucks, but i'm afraid it would just sit until i drove it.
