Some progress pics

Its another members ride but, he went to the body shop and snapped these, just had the frame shortened and bedsides added. Got a new seat too.

Even knowing how we all about pics he didn't wanna post any up until it was painted but its in paint jail and everybody loves progress pics. Hopefully he'll chime in and give out the details

That looks sweet! What kind of drop kit is he running? If he chimes in he will have a lot of questions to answer...

4/6 drop, which includes 2.5" drop spindles in front and 2" blocks in rear.
I would like to go a lil lower in the rear to make it level, but that would involve a C-notch. Paint Prison!!! I'm itching to get it back so I can get it on the road.

Re: Some progress pics

I took those pics the other day while I was test fitting the seat.
The seat requires alot of test fitting and hacking. But now, they feel comfortable in their current position, and they will still be able to flip down. That way I can flip the pass. seat down for my dog when he wants to tag along instead of covering the seat.

I like those seats, but are they adjustable (other than flipping down)?

unfortunately no. but i figured since the bench seat that was in there was
positioned all the way back, that is where this one will stay as well.

Re: Some progress pics

That looks like a very sweet project and I like the look of that seat. If I didn't already have the seat I like, I'd look for that instead and just add some bolsters to the seat and seat back to make a psuedo bucket seat.
I'll be looking forward to more pics down the road!

Btw, I love that 'mint chocolate chip' theme you've got!

Yes. It's the original bed. Floor cut in two places. 12" cut out in front of wheel well and 8" aft.
Where the primer stops on the floor is about where the rear weld line is.

Re: Some progress pics

Finally found a lil progress being done on the truck today!! They had just finished putting the flames down. They have yet to clean up the over-spray then put few coats of clear on.

I will get better picks later
