Re: First time i have seen a gold grill shell
I wonder if you could anodize grills all the different colors they do aluminum fittings? I have seen gold, red, and blue. I wonder if that is how he did his grill.

Re: First time i have seen a gold grill shell
Kinda agree with Dino... it would look good on the right truck in the right paint color, like the black or red '57s Bel Air's with the gold badging

Re: First time i have seen a gold grill shell
It does appear to be gold anodized. The factory clear anodized them.Other colors could be done, but lets not go there. In the`80s that stuff went wild, then went out of style. Some things are better left well enough alone. It`s funny how,of all places, this was done on this particular truck. It appears to be a shortbed, which is unusual seen as a stake body. The body appears to be newer,if not new. That`s a good bit of money. Can`t haul alot in those racks. No other attempt to gussy it up as far as wheels or even chrome hubcaps, bumper,or grille. Then,a gold anondized grille?I`ll bet bucks that this is a truck from a plating/coatings business or a guy that works there and done just because he could.

Re: First time i have seen a gold grill shell
Now all it needs is a gold Trans AM Firebird sticker on the hood and some of those old style Pontiac wheels. Honey comb?

Re: First time i have seen a gold grill shell
I take offense to that! No self respecting redneck would put a gold grill on their truck
