Re: Check this out......

Hey John,
How are you man?
That is a really neat gathering.
There are alot of old timers with some awesome rides. I am pretty sure that red chevy truck is Freddies' He organizes the event and also the elks toys for kid drive in SJ in December.
Just wait till around June-July. That entire parking lot will be jammed.
I was there one night last summer (see pic) and there was easily 100+ cars.
BTW, I have had some computer problems (ended up buying a new desktop) along with being busy at work. Sorry for not responding to your message earlier.
Nothing really new to report on the 67 C20. Barry has been trying to either push out some lingering projects or return some cars (he isn't interested in doin) to people before starting on Justin's truck. I am not really worried. Gives us more time to decide on the final drivetrain. With gas predicted to be >$4 by the summer our strategy must be re-evaluated. It is either going to have an AT with a gear vendors or 5 speed.
Richard

Re: Check this out......

Larry,
Thanks for posting those events. I think we met last year at Horses to Horsepower. What a neat show that is!
Indeed, we are just entering the start of the car show season, April -Oct.
I did not realize just how many shows are held around the mid-penninsula area! That is great. We like the one day shows.
Last year Justin and took our 1969 Firebird to Cars in the Park and Horses to Horsepower. We had a great time. Some awesome cars. Got to meet Jim Wangers!
With the price of gas going up and up I predict these local events will see a boost in attendance- from both atendees and spectators.
Keep up the good work.

Your welcome. One thing though. I am not Larry. I am John. I just get the e mails from them.. And one think I wanted to add. The Pacific Coast Dream Machine Show is a pretty good one. I did it for 3 years while my truck was running and when it is going again i will be attending that show again.
