4x4 transfer case shift decal location.

I have seen the transfer case shift pattern on the glove box and my 69 had it on the cieling ( inside of roof_) ..... what is correct? and where?

Also how about the locking hub sticker?

Locking hub sticker on my 67 is on the glove box door (i think), and the pattern is on the passenger roof (for sure), 69 may be different

Re: 4x4 transfer case shift decal location.

I think it just depends on the factory where they put the sticker. Both are correct, but for you, if it was between the two visors, I would put it back there. I believe those two spots to be correct though. Trevor

Don`t put those stickers on there!!It will increase the value to at least double!J/K!!!!!Just tryin`to make light of your situation.I`d have to agree with Trevor.Location varied and I`d go with where they were.

Re: 4x4 transfer case shift decal location.

any chance the location had to do with the type of X-fer? the pic shown is the shift pattern for a T-221. I've never seen a truck with the shift pattern sticker in it, but that's not saying much.

Re: 4x4 transfer case shift decal location.

I don't know if there is really a true answer to this, but I would believe more on what factory these trucks came from as a possibility. I have a 1970 chevelle as well, and even like buildsheets ended up in about the same spots from the same plant, but were way different in other plant locations, even not even putting them in. This leads me to believe that it just depended on that shift's worker who put the stickers in that location but at another plant they would put them in a different spot. I know that there are shift pattern decals with np205's as well, but most didn't come with them because of the shift pattern on the knob unlike the 67-68-possibly 69'? Trevor

My 68 has a rockwell transfercase and the sticker is between the sunvisors.
