I haven't seen them, but there are some new ones available. www.gmcpauls.com shows them, and he is a very good dealer. There are more vendors. Go to the home page, link for that is at the bottom right of this page. On the left side of the home page is a link for vendors.

Re: Aftermarket 60-66 fleetside tailgate

Hey short step..........my buddy used one on his '62. It was a re-pop minus the logo. He had gotten rid of the emblems anyway.....I helped him hang it and put in some latches.....I remember it not being too bad of a piece. I think the re-pop fenders for our trucks are junk......I used one on mine but ended up cutting out the grill section in front and slpicing an original back in 'cuz it looked better....lot of work for a brand new piece!!! Anyway; the tailgate was good...looked nice after paint too.

Try:

www.lmctruck.com
www.bowtiebits.com
www.classicparts.com
www.oldchevytrucks.com
www.impalas.com

amongst several others out there.

I I personally used a reproduction fleetside tailgate from LMC Truck and Classic Parts, formerly Chevy Duty, with good results.
