vac question
Is the distributor suppose to have vac at idle? Mine don't but I thought it was suppose to. I have an Edelbrock Performer carb and have dist pluged in to the right side port.

If the eng is pretty stock, you should be ok on ported spark(no vac @ idle, but if you pick up the throttle, you will have vac.) when using a hotter cam, i have had better luck running the vac can plugged to full manifold source at the carb(cleans up the idle& lets the plugs burn clean). Good luck......69
