Re: Surf Blue
Nah I'm not risking my well being just to take some pictures. I'm just standing on one of my ATVs'. It's for sale BTW.
The Husky compressor in the background is just what I use for stuff at my house. It's good for priming, and doing other stuff, but for all of my painting I take that stuff to work. So to answer your question ,No I'm not using it for "everytrhing" I'm doing.

Re: Surf Blue
Looks even better in person. The pictures dont do the blue much justice as the sun does.

Re: Surf Blue
It's painted!
These pics are in no specific order so bare with me. The trailer you see the truck sitting on, took the place of my new wheels I was going to buy. I bought it instead . Go figure.

Re: Surf Blue
They're not terrible. You're upgrading & improving everything about the truck & new shoes were part of that plan. New, nicer, billet shoes .

Re: Surf Blue
I'll second that. That pic says alot.... The stance on the truck looks killer, the rolling stock fits just right, & the paint prep is evident looking down the side of the truck.

Re: Surf Blue
Thanks for all the compliments guys. I just got the truck home today ,and I am absolutely exhausted. Squeezing in a paint job this size ,and keeping up with my other jobs that pay the bills has worn me out.
I did happen to order a new back glass, door handles, emblems, and a few other odds and ends so I could start putting it back together. Hopefully I can get some one piece windows, and some Line-X added to the list here before too long. Either way I'm going to start putting it back together tonight, yes tonight, after the wife goes to work. I'll post more pics after I get everything back on the truck.

Re: Surf Blue
Looks great man. Those wheels aren't billet. They are cast. Which is why he wants new ones. At least thats what he told me.

Re: Surf Blue
I managed to get it back together as far as I could. I'm still waiting on some parts to finish completely.
I snapped some pictures of it put back together so you can see what it's going to look like. I tried to take the same amount of pics in the sun ,and in the shade to give a little contrast. I've also compiled a list of things I'm going to try to get done in 2009. 1. Polished 142 supercharger 2. Led taillights 3. bench seat, lowered, re-covered 4. new billet wheels 5. serpentine belt setup 6. narrowed rear end 7. vintage air 8. Brake upgrade 9. possibly buy another swb 67-72 ,and keep it patina Don't hold me to it things always seem to change, but I'm going to try. Here's some more pics. ENJOY.
