Installing Glovebox Liner

What is the best way to install a glovebox liner (W A/C)? My method seems difficult and I generally crease or tear something. I remove the door and put the liner through the front, press the rear of the liner against the dash and coherse the flaps behind the dash. Is there a better way?

I found that pressing it toward the radio first allowed me to get the other side in more easily. Just watch you don't push the defrost hose off the diverter.

This is how I normally did it. I put one in the other day and I pulled the "diverter" (t-shaped piece connected to heater box) off and slid it in towards the right first. When it was in on the right side I slipped the "diverter" back on and pushed the left side in. I think either way you go it is a hassle and on the verge of ripping all the time.

WOW! That was much easier! Lifting the "T" off of the air-box and allowing the corner of the glovebox to pass below it allowed me to install the liner with little distortion. I'll bet the assembly workers used this method. Nice tip Mint68!
