weird that somebody would even consider owning an ambulance. Just seems too creepy to me.

Re: '79 Ambulance

that would make a great ice cream truck. replace the siren with the music player and have all the lights going different colors.

Re: '79 Ambulance

I agree with the camper idea. It would be cool to put a basic and yet modern interior in there like a wrap-around sofa up front and mabye a nice media system with a big ole' flip down flat screen and direct tv on the roof.

Re: '79 Ambulance

they make good work trucks to.. have seen a few of them as service trucks for smaller companies.. most of the time the maintance is up to date on them... would be cool to have the seats and with the console, you could have a good base for some speaker..

Re: '79 Ambulance

pretty cool old truck --- if i could get it cheap -- i would convert it to a flatbed though ---
ambulances and hearses alike have their place - but not in my recreation time (but the idea of making a rolling party wagon out of it has some merit --- "Pimp My Ride" would also have a field day with all that space)

I agree, it would make a nice flat bed. Would be good for towing too with that longer wheel base.

BINGO!!

I feel the same about reusing an ecnalubma. But,that one doesn`t look like one.All you do is remove the lights and it`s a slick looking low-profile cube van.It would make a nice contractor truck.
