Hello. I`m new to this site and am looking for some pictures of the underbed spare tire carrier ( glide out type ). I have a 1986 shortbed silverado. I bought what I thought was the complete assy. from L.M.C. . But looks like I need something else.
I purchased THE glide out carrier , Any pictures of this type would greatlt helpful.

Thanks for the help. I saw that post but it did`nt show the glide out tire carrier. Looking at the pic. it looks like I need the long bar that the tire sets on . But not sure how to attach the glide out attachment. Any futher help would be nice. Thanks for the help

well im the guy who started the other post can ya post pics on what YOU have cause im fat and lazy and if theres an easier unloading spare tire carrier thats right up my alley and i want one

how does that thing work? just loosen it a tad and slide out the tire? looks like what is in the other post

It has never been used. I am going to take it out from under there some time this fall and bring the exhuast out.

For god's sake, when you take it off the truck, don't trash it. Put it up on eBay. You would be surprised what they bring. I paid big money for a NOS one.
